F.A.R.M. Bags
GREAT NEWS! Thanks to a Meta Community Action Grant, Food & Agriculture Resources Monthly Bags will again be available from public libraries in DeKalb County starting in August 2026!
F.A.R.M. Bags are thematic resource bags children can use to investigate agricultural topics at home with their families or at school. They include:
- An informational reading piece focused on the month’s theme (Ag Mag or fact sheet)
- Instructions for a hands-on investigation
- Links to suggested videos for further learning
- Suggestions of related books
- Supplies needed for the activity
As they are updated, the new FARM Bag activity guides will be available for download by clicking on the images below.
